Mike Fellows sailed around the UK in 2003 in 'Kes' his Van de Stadt Kesterloo design, steel cutter rigged yawl. 'Since purchasing Kes, I had dreamt of sailing her around Great Britain. I knew that I was retiring from the Fire Brigade at the end of December 2002. I had been planning this adventure for about 18 months, collecting charts and any other information that would help me in my circumnavigation of the UK.
