Vince got off to a slow start due to the weather and ran into further problems when his crew became seasick on their UK circumnavigation aboard Anita 'A' a Contessa 26. A long standing ambition for Vince the trip will raise money for
the 'Martin House Childrens Hospice' and the RNLI.

Katie and ElectraA Single-handed Circumnavigation of the United Kingdom in aid of the Ellen MacArthur Trust. Clockwise from Hamble in her stout little Corribee, Katie completed the trip, raised a great deal of money for the trust and earnt herself the title 'Young Sailor of the Year 2006' well, she was only 18. Not a bad way to spend a gap year. Unfortunately Katie's blog seems to be off-line but you can still read a little about her adventure here. | |
